A Better 'X-Men: First Class' Trailer

This one gives you a better sense of what's going on story-wise.

I still don't know how I feel about this X-Men version, but I probably will end up liking it.

New Transformers 3 Trailer!

It's like Christmas with Harry Potter's just coming out last night.

The movie looks intense and action packed, but I still don't understand what the story is. And I don't know about this new chick who replaced my Megan Fox-y. Megan was funny and sexy. This chick just looks emotionless. We'll see. But I must say that Chicago looks beautiful. Finally an action/end-of-the-world movie that takes place in the city of Chicago. Does anyone know what building that was collapsing? Trump Tower? (like his campaign... haha). Or maybe Willis Sears Tower?

If the video above doesn't work... click here.

He's Back! Arnold attached to New Terminator Project!

Terminator 5

You cannot even imagine how excited I am.

It's difficult being a true Terminator fan. Mostly because after a new movie comes out, you have no idea whether or not there will actually be another one although they always claim there will be.

Well it has been announced that a new Terminator project is in the works and Arnold Schwarzenegger is attached to it! Now the term "project" is vague and I CANNOT find a reliable news outlet (CNN, ABC, etc.) that says that it is in fact the fifth film in the series. Many independent news stories claim that it is in fact the fifth film. Regardless, the Fast and the Furious 3, 4, & 5 director Justin Lin is attached to direct.

The film has yet to find a studio to back it and a screenwriter to… well… write the film. Universal, Sony and Lionsgate, and CBS Films are interested in purchasing the rights to the film.

The reason that it usually takes so long to push out Terminator movies is because the rights to the films keep being thrown around. First this company has them, then another buys them, then they go bankrupt, then they're auctioned out to another company… it's a never-ending, irritating cycle. All I have to say is they need to make the slated fifth and sixth films soon and if Arnold is willing to make a comeback then I say go for it… as long as they're good! The original creator of the series and the director of Terminator 1 and 2 will be getting the rights to the films back in 2018 regardless where they are and what he will do with them I am unsure. He didn't support Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines or Terminator Salvation, but said that Salvation was entertaining.

All I'm asking is that they make the fifth and sixth films and make them live up to the Terminator name. With Arnold coming back, this is a huge opportunity to do it right!

The Best Rebecca Black spoof!

Erik found this and it is so freaking funny. We make fun of it so much.

"EVERYBODY'S RUSSIAN!"
"GET THE FUCK OVER HERE!"
"MY HAND IS A DOLPHIN!"

"Partyin' partyin'…" "Yes!" "Partyin' partyin'…" "Yeah…"

My Thoughts: Jeremy Renner offered Jason Bourne

Jeremy Renner

A month ago when this was all speculation, I probably would have been all over Jeremy Renner taking over the role of Jason Bourne from Matt Damon, but now that it very well could be true… I'm not sure.

Now that I take the time to consider it, the trilogy was amazing as it was and it was concluded. Yes, the movie ended with him swimming to safety and not being found, but plenty of series end with hope. *Cough* X-Men: The Last Stand *cough.* The Bourne Ultimatum ended with Bourne discovering the truth about himself after losing his memory in the beginning of the first movie, The Bourne Identity. Therefore his story was concluded.

Now let's make believe that Matt Damon was continuing the role of Jason Bourne. Would I want there to be another one? Maybe… mostly yes… because I can't get enough of him as Jason Bourne. They would just have to start a whole new storyline. Yes, the series has nine - almost ten - books so, having not read them, I don't know what the story could entail. It could work. Could you imagine ten Bourne movies? Identity, Supremacy, Ultimatum, Legacy, Betrayal, Sanction, Deception, Objective, Dominion, Upset. Crazy.

Don't get me wrong, I love Jeremy Renner. Love, love, love him. And before, I was so into him playing this role, but now I'm not questioning whether he should take the role or whether he'd play the role well or not… I'm questioning whether or not the series should be continued. Is it necessary?

Regardless on whether Matt Damon will return or Jeremy takes it or they decide to go another route, Universal announced that The Bourne Legacy will be in theaters August 3rd, 2012.

Harry & Hermione's Dance Song

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I

For those of you diehard Harry Potter fans that need to know slash have everything Harry Potter like myself, I have found - not that it was that difficult to find out… I used SoundHound and Shazam - the song that Harry and Hermione dance to in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I.

The song is called 'O Children' by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. They are an Australian alternative rock band formed in 1983.

Find it on iTunes here.

J. Lo - Invading My Mind

Listen above to Jennifer Lopez's Invading My Mind from her new album out April 29th. This is my current obsession. It was written by Lady Gaga and produced by her and RedOne.

Gaga's 'Born This Way' Artwork SUCKS!

Born This Way

What the hell was she thinking?

I hope this is some sort of prank, but this comes directly from her twitter.

You can't talk up an album for over a year and make it sound so epic and then give us this shit! That's just mean.

Serious? I'm disappointed. I'd rather make my own, or use some fan-made one.

Movie Review: Scream 4

Warning: May contain spoilers. You've been warned.

(out of four stars)

I'm not kidding when I say there will be spoilers. I WILL reveal the killer.

I always say it takes a series to take a break for it to be on top again. It has been 11 years since Scream 3 and when I heard Scream 4 I got extremely excited. And then when they said it would possibly begin a new trilogy, I just dropped dead.

What's great about the Scream series is that it's funny while being incredibly scary. The movie is about the cliché horror movie and basically makes fun of it and the sequels all spoof the original in a way by making a movie within a movie.

I was so happy to hear that the original cast was returning: Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, and David Arquette. And I loved some of the new cast: Hayden Panettiere, Emma Roberts.

The storyline was generic for a movie that takes place so long after the previous film. But it makes sense for a movie that's based around the generic scary movie. It worked.

Last chance to stop reading before I reveal the killer...

To be 100% honest, I had no idea who the killer was. I had ideas and theories, but they were the most cliché, but sometimes it is the most obvious ones. I thought it was just one of those times. I thought it was either Dewey's deputy, Judy, or Jill's ex-boyfriend Trevor. Wrong. I did not suspect Jill to be the killer whatsoever. Rory Culkin's character I kind of get. But not Jill. I figured she would be a survivor along with Sydney.

I'm not sure yet how I feel about Jill being the killer. A flaw is that ghostface is always played by someone who is tall and Jill is very short. Had Emma Roberts actually dressed up in the Ghostface outfit when her character was meant to be killing, we probably figured the killer was one of the shorter petite girls.

I would also complain about her character's sudden 180 in personality when she is revealed to be the killer. Like talk about psychopath and she's supposed to be a high schooler? But… all the other movies have characters that do 180s as well, so I must accept this somewhat unrealistic behavior.

My one other problem with the movie was the gore. I understand that most horror movies today depend a lot on gore because audiences are now used to movies like Saw and Hostel, but I feel that the gore in this movie was unnecessary. People go and see Scream movies for 3 things: the comedy, the jumpy and thrilling scenes, and the mystery as to who it was. They expect blood but not full on guts. That one shot of their friend on her bed with her intestines spilled all over the bed was a little much. It was unnecessary. The stabbing Anthony Anderson's character in the forehead was also a little much as well as Jill shooting her ex-boyfriend's penis with a gun. Although that could just add to her psychoticness. Still, I think every member of the audience with a penis cringed inside and covered their own dicks. It was brutal to watch that.

As far as Scream movies go, I would have to agree with the commercials where critics claim its the best since the original. I haven't seen the second or third ones in a while, but I recall that they were not any better than the first. This movie, however, is right back up there. Can't wait for 5CREAM and SCRE6M! Lol.

Rise of Planet of the Apes

This looks likes a borderline horror movie. But yet it still looks very intriguing. I'm so happy to see the beautiful Frieda Pinto in another movie besides Slumdog Millionaire. She is extremely talented and gorgeous. And Tom Felton outside of Harry Potter? Say wha??

Blu-Ray is Evil! A DVD Collector's Nightmare!

DVD vs. Blu-ray

So if you follow me on Twitter, I'm sure you noticed that I got really upset on Tuesday when I went out purchase Tron: Legacy.

@Disney I fucking hate you. You only put Tron out on DVD in a single disc version with the ugly cover. I want 2 disc in DVD packaging. Asses

Ugh. You people have no idea how pissed I am that @Disney solely makes their Bluray cases looks pretty and doesn't care about DVD collectors

Yeah, I was very upset. And I feel I have a right to be. If Twitter were to allow more than 140 characters, those rants would have been MUCH longer!

I've been collecting movies for over 3 years now. I want to say I started when I was in high school. My collection has gotten extreme; movies are just piled everywhere in my room. I'm very proud of my collection. I'm proud of the amount and I'm proud of the way it looks. All the cases are the same and look beautiful. I'd even buy a movie version based on it's case. For example, pictured are the covers for the Dark Knight DVDs. One is the single disc version, the other is the two-disc version. Which one looks better? Obviously the two-disc with the bike pictured on it is way more epic. So my purchases really depend on a lot of things.

When HDDVDs and Blu-ray discs came around, I was fine with it. I thought it was pointless, but as long as it didn't interrupt my collecting, I was fine with their presence. I'm not a high-def fan. I don't believe it's necessary unless you're watching a movie like Titanic, Avatar, Harry Potter, Pirates, or Lord of the Rings. Blu-ray eventually won the battle, which I was bummed about because I don't really understand what "blu-ray" means… at least HDDVD makes sense - High Definition DVD. So, whatever, they won… now we have Blu-rays and DVDs.

With blu-rays slowly (and very slowly) becoming popular, DVDs are like dirt cheap now (yay me) while they charge up to $30 for blu-rays. Still… I think it's pointless. Occasionally they'll release a special version where you can purchase both the blu-ray and DVD in one case (and sometimes throw in a bonus disc or digital copy). Clever. It's a smart way for companies to try get consumers to start purchasing blu-rays.

Now, companies (for the most part at this point, Disney) doesn't care about DVDs because they don't cost as much as blu-rays. If you get people to convert to blu-ray, you can charge them whatever you want because high definition is the "in" thing right now aside from 3D.

So this is where my problem comes in. Here's my story:

I loved Tron: Legacy. I thought it was an awesome, epic movie and I could wait to buy it on DVD. I already have the first one on DVD so obviously I need the second one. I go to Target (yeah, although I've been promoting it's boycott) to buy it and what I find makes me as DVD collector want to cry. Disney released a single-disc DVD version, a blu-ray + DVD version, and a blu-ray, DVD, 3D DVD, + digital copy version. The single-disc DVD version is in the regular DVD packaging that matches all the rest of my DVD cases, but it has the most ugly, generic cover in the world and that's it. Nothing special about it. The other two versions are in the blu-ray packaging which is shorter and thinner than a regular DVD case. The cover of the blu-ray versions matches the epic-ness of the movie. They even went all out to add that box cover to slide over the case.

This is when my heart breaks. I want a DVD version in the DVD-sized case, but I want the awesome cover that comes with the blu-ray versions. I would buy the blu-ray + DVD version if it was in a DVD-sized case. Disney has been releasing their "Diamond Editions" of their classic animated movies where they give you a blu-ray disc and a DVD disc in a single box. The best part about their Diamond Edition is that they release it in DVD packaging and blu-ray packaging. Everybody wins.

I'm really upset about this and I'm sure a lot of you find it stupid. But I'm really passionate about my DVDs. What I'm most nervous about is going down next week… Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I. Imagine this scenario… Harry Potter movies have been coming out since 2001 (before blu-rays and HDDVDs ever came about) and you've boughten each one in the Two-Disc Collector's Edition in the standard DVD packaging. Blu-rays are on the rise and DVDs are slowly becoming a minority. Up to this point, you've collected the six released Harry Potter movies in that style of packaging. 2 discs, DVD packaging. Part I is released and they only manufacture a single-disc version in DVD packaging with a generic cover and then a single-disc blu-ray version and a 2-disc blu-ray + DVD version. So now you must pick: single-disc DVD in generic, boring DVD packaging, or blu-ray version (when you don't even have a blu-ray player) in blu-ray packaging that doesn't match the rest of your movie collection. A nightmare.

We'll have to see what happens next week when Harry Potter: Part I is released. You'll be able to tell by my tweets if I got what I wanted. Wish me luck...

Britney and Katy's new music videos!

Much better than Hold It Against Me. People are claiming that Britney used a dance double in this one as well, but she seems to have longer, continuous shots of her in this one where we can clearly see it's her so I'm sure she did most of her own dancing.

As for Katy's music video… I like it, it's unique. Although, I envisioned it to be much different. And Kanye ruins this song. I absolutely hate that man. He needs to stop making music. They should've just left this song that way it was when the album was released.
