Oh. My. Fucking. God.
This movie was beyond amazing. It was heartwarming and touching and almost the perfect movie (Titanic's a perfect movie ;)
First, I'll lay down the story for you. Basically, Michael Oher (real life Football star) was homeless and this wealth, all-American family took him in and he became a part of their family. Michael was a shy, quiet person with a shady past. That's pretty much the story in a nutshell. All you need to know, that is.
Now, let's talk about Sandra. Ever since her first on-screen appearance in the film, I knew she deserved that Oscar... hands down. The first shot of her was her in her blonde wig, talking on the phone with her hick accent. You knew she was going to be red hot during the entire movie. And she was.
I also enjoyed Tim McGraw's presence. I'm not a fan of his music or anything (because country sucks), but he was good with his character. As well as Kathy Bates and the little boy who played SJ.
It was a very sad film and I wanted to cry, but didn't. Haha. The ending was one of those 'so happy that you cry' type of endings. But it is a very good movie and I recommend it to all. You'll fall in love with Sandra every time you watch it. 5 out of 5 stars. :)
P.S... It was so nice that the family that was portrayed was invited to the Oscars. So Nice. Leigh Anne Touhy must've been so happy to see Sandra win for playing her in real life.
