Preview of Katy Perry's E.T.

I love this song! And the music video looks awesome!

People are so slow though. I originally got into this song when the single was originally released in August 2010. I was "over it" by December and now it's becoming popular? I don't understand it. But whatever.

Batman Will Be Rebooted After Next Film

Batman Reboot

Warner Bros. announced that after The Dark Knight Rises is released next year, the studio intends to reboot the series.

Really? I can't keep up with this.

First they semi-rebooted/spinoffed X-Men, then rebooted Spiderman, then rebooted Superman, and now they want to reboot Batman? There needs to be a Hollywood law that says there needs to be at least a ten year buffer between reboots.

Christopher Nolan (the current series' director) will be giving up the directors chair, but will continue producing. I like this idea, because I feel that the movies will retain their current level of seriousness unlike the last series where Batman Forever and Batman & Robin were more like comedies over action movies.

The cast will also be… well… recast. So no more Christian Bale. But that's okay with me. (He's starting to bug me.) But now we can put together our own cast. Here we go:

________ as Bruce Wayne / Batman
________ as female lead / love interest
________ as Alfred
________ as Robin (optional)
________ as Commissioner Gordon
________ as (villain of your choice)

Jake Gyllenhaal, Sam Worthington, or Jeremy Renner as Bruce Wayne / Batman
Rachel McAdams or Reese Witherspoon as female lead / love interest
Stanley Tucci as Alfred
Jason Isaacs as Commissioner Gordon
Johnny Depp, Russel Brand, or Joseph Gordon-Levitt as The Riddler
Emily Blunt or Angelina Jolie as Selena Kyle / Catwoman

DVD Tuesday! New releases! 3/29

Black Swan

The End is Coming! First Part II Poster!

Harry Potter: Part II

So epic.

I can't believe that we're less than four months away. So exciting, but yet so sad.

I also like movie posters that don't have titles… ones that use iconic images to send the message.

Hey, Rebecca Black, tomorrow's Friday... stupid bitch.

If you haven't yet seen the viral video "Friday" by Rebecca Black (NO STOP!, I know you're going to search it now. Don't!), then be thankful your brain has not been turned to mush. Please do not go searching for it. The last thing the ho needs is more hits on her video. In one day it jumped 5,000,000 hits. IT'S NOT EVEN THAT GOOD OF A SONG!

Please watch the video below. Why? 1. It's hilarious! 2. I agree with everything he says - 100%.

And P.S! Rebecca Black is only 13 years old. A. If her friends are the same age as her, they should not be driving that damn car, B. If her friends are older 16 or older, she has terrible parents because she should be hanging out with kids her own age.

First Captain America Trailer!

How epic-looking. Chris Evans, Tommy Lee Jones, Stanley Tucci, Hugo Weaving, and Howard Stark! Yes!

Former SNL Star blasts Glee after Blaine/Kurt Kiss

Ugh, this makes me want to vomit. And look... she brought her own bible to wave in our face. Good for her...

Some fat has-been SNL star turned tea-party Jesus freak is preaching that Glee is turning young men and women gay and she is openly disgusted by the kiss between gay characters on the show.

Victoria Justice Jackson appeared on SNL from 1986 until 1992. She claims that the show has a one-sided agenda that is against the Bible. So does that mean her beliefs are not one-sided? She naturally claims that homosexuality is a sin and is forbidden in the Bible, blah blah blah... the usual bullshit we hear. She believes that this country is in turmoil because people are now turning away from her savior Jesus Christ. Please woman, just shut the fuck up.... this country is moving on and changing as it should. Everybody deserves equal rights. What's interesting is that this isn't even about gay marriage. She's upset about something as innocent and as stupid as a kiss.

Here bitch, I can name some other shows that feature a gay kiss. Why don't you go criticize them as well!

Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Brothers and Sisters, Modern Family, 90210, Will & Grace, Queer As Folk, Greek, Ugly Betty, The Good Wife, Pretty Little Liars.

Victoria Jackson = Dumbass.

Join Ellen's cause!

I love her and I completely support her. Ha.

Hilary Duff announces second book!

Hilary Duff with Elixir

That was fast!

Hilary Duff has announced the title and release date of the sequel to her New York Times Bestseller, Elixir.

Devoted will be hitting shelves October 11th, 2011!

To be honest, I haven't gotten through the first one yet (I have started though), but I'm still really excited about it! I'll definitely be done with Elixir by the time Devoted comes out! She's actually an amazing writer.

New American Pie in the works!

American Pie

Finally, enough of those crappy direct-to-DVD DVDs. Let's get back to the original!!

Universal has gotten Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, and - naturally - Eugene Levy to sign on for American Reunion.

They are also reportedly in talks with Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tara Reid, Chris Klein, Mena Suvari, and mother MILF Jennifer Coolidge.

So what about Alyson Hannigan and Eddie Kaye Thomas? They're important. One's the wife and the other is the whole reason Jennifer Coolidge sticks around! Lol.

Do I want another sequel? Sure, why not. But please take it seriously. American Pie = classic, American Pie 2 = good sequel, American Wedding = unnecessary. Why didn't I like Wedding? Because they tried to hard in my opinion and they axed some of my favorite characters.

Make it, but don't fuck this up.

Movie Review: I Am Number Four

Warning: May contain spoilers. You've been warned.

(out of four stars)

Believe it or not, I actually read the book prior to seeing the movie. THAT NEVER HAPPENS! Only for Last Song and Harry Potter! Crazy.

The movie was, for the most part, pretty close to the book. However, they did a lot of cropping to make the movie an hour and 44 minutes long. It wasn't bad cropping, it was actually kind of impressive cropping. Basically, they made what was a week or so in the book mushed down into one night. You think that would be terrible, but it really wasn't. They just cropped out the house-burning scene, which I was really looking forward to seeing.

I do feel the movie was rushed. Why they wanted to make it less than two hours long, I don't really know. The movie had a lot more potential for action, characterization, and a deeper story. Don't get me wrong, I still really liked the movie, but the movie so far has flopped with critics and the box office… and I'm just trying to identify what they could have done differently to make it more liked.

I thought the actors were great. I loved Timothy Olyphant. I'm biased to love Dianna Agron. I liked seeing Miss Prissy-Queen-Bee from Glee as the quiet girl in an action movie. But most of all, I really liked Teresa Palmer as Six. Although she is only in the last part of the book, they tried to give her more screen time and I liked that they did. Her character is so fun to me.

Because it flopped at the box office and with the critics, I'm nervous about it's sequel. The book, The Power of Six, is due out in August and so far there's no news of a movie version. With a production budget of $60 million, I Am Number Four has only grossed $90 million worldwide giving them only a $30 million profit. Yes, it's still in theaters, but I don't think it'll hit the $100 million mark. I'm going to remain optimistic. The movie left it open for a sequel, so we'll see.

'Super 8' Poster & Trailer

Looks so good. JJ Abrams is a genius and we all know how I feel about Steven Spielberg. Naturally, they'd make an amazing movie together. Plus, Dakota's little sister Elle Fanning is in it…. No wrong.

NOTICE:  Come 10/22, I will no longer be with the company.  I haven't decided whether or not I will continue to update since it will be difficult to stay up to date without being in the store.  Still, feel free to comment songs that are playing currently in the store and I will add them to the list.

So you know when you're in a store and you hear a song that you really like and you're like "damn I wish I bought myself an iPhone so I can identify music with an app"? Well for those of you who don't have that option, I've put together a list of songs I know have played at Aeropostale. Having worked there for a long time, I know what I'm talking about. ;) Hope this helps anybody looking for music. Don't worry, I'll try my best to keep this up to date. And feel free to comment with ones I miss or don't know.

Star Wars 3D coming February 2012!

I see you!

Yup, it's happening. And I'm excited!

As previously mentioned, the Star Wars films were rumored to be returning to theaters in 3D since, you know, 3D is like totally amazing (not!). Regardless of the 3D, I can't wait to see them in theaters again.

It was announced that the first Star Wars saga film, The Phantom Menace, will be re-released February 10th, 2012.

Apparently they were taking their time converting them. The first three with all of their visual effects were the most difficult to convert to 3D. Understandable.

Puss In Boots Trailer released!

This has only been in production since Puss was introduced in Shrek 2. Good to see it's actually gotten somewhere. And it looks good.

Bet it'll be way way better than Shrek 4.

Kim Kardasian's "Jam"

It's not terrible, but it's not good. Regardless, I downloaded it.
