Yay! Some Jurassic Park IV News!

Jurassic Park IV

A couple weeks ago, a picture (link) from Universal Studios surfaced that suggested that the fourth Jurassic Park slipped into production without people knowing. It caused a lot of buzz and rumors to circulate. Much to my disappointment, the picture turned out to just be a hoax.

I hoped that the high amount of buzz would make execs at Universal aware of peoples interest in another movie. Hopefully, it does.

I went to Wikipedia (and yes, I know it is not always factual), but Joe Johnston, the director of the third film, is said to be the director of the fourth one and is hoping to focus his full attention on Jurassic Park once Captain America is complete. It is also said that he is hoping to collaborate with Steven Spielberg, the director of the first two, and it is also said that it will be released in 2013. However, the release year has been being pushed back ever since it was originally said to be released in 2007, so I don't know how truthful that is. Also, keep in mind that IMDb.com does not have a Jurassic Park IV page like they used to which means, according to them, there is no plan for a fourth movie currently.

Regardless, I hope they do get to work on it. I'm not usually one that roots for sequels, but I feel that Jurassic Park has so much potential and the third one did not live up to the standard. I'm also one that believes that the longer you put off a sequel, the better it will be (as opposed to it being rushed). So we'll see and keep your fingers crossed!

"Born This Way" Music Video

I expected more.

One thing though…

Why must all of Lady Gaga's latest videos be movies. This one, Paparazzi, Alejandro, and Telephone are all at least seven minutes long. I don't understand.

It's okay to spend a minute at the most at the begin or the end to explain what is going on with the story, but that's it. Lady Gaga likes to spend several minutes at the beginning and end and even cuts into the middle of the song for unnecessary footage. Gaga, I just want to listen to music and see some damn dancing. Stop with your random gibberish crap that makes no sense to us.

'Ke Dollar-Sign Ha' is Gonna Blow

Ke$ha is one crazy girl. She's like Lady Gaga crazy, if you were to find Lady Gaga in an alley, next to a dumpster, drunk, in some homeless man's lap, talking about glitter sandwiches.

How random that James Van Der Sloot is in this.

Movie Review: The Kids Are All Right

(out of four stars)

This was a very interesting movie for me. It was great insight into the world of gay parenting and I think everyone should see it because it just shows that everything is (somewhat) normal. As expected, the children are perfectly normal and comfortable with their situation. And they're straight which debunks the 'gay parents raise gay children' crap.

I believe this movie deserves its Best Picture nomination, but it doesn't deserve the win.

The story was normal and interesting at first, but then when Julianne started to swing the other way and screw her children's biological father, it got kinda fucked up. I love Julianne, but it was hard for me to watch her be the unfaithful one in the relationship.

It was really disappointing to see Mark Ruffalo's character have a sad ending with no closure. Although, looking at the situation, how could things return to normal with him? They'd have to cut him out of their lives. Poor bastard.

My favorite characters, though, were the kids. Mia Wasikowska and Josh Hutcherson are really talented and will go really far in their careers.

The films was nominated for 4 Oscars: Best Picture, Best Actress (Annette Bening), Best Supporting Actor (Mark Ruffalo), and Best Original Screenplay. I'm really upset that Julianne Moore was snubbed (along with Mila Kunis for the Black Swan). Sadly, I don't think that they will be taking home any Oscars, but to be nominated while on conjuring up $20 million at the box office is pretty big.

Will You 'Hold It Against' Her?

Holy ads, Batman. Sony, PlentyOfFish.com, and her damn fragrance. You know, Hilary Duff advertised her fragrance in her 'With Love…' video, but if you didn't know she had a fragrance you wouldn't have noticed. She didn't shove it in your face.

I don't think the video was bad, but I don't think it was her best. And I don't really understand the meteor crap in the beginning. Looking for plots in music videos is becoming pointless.

Being Discovered on YouTube is OVER!

YouTube Stars

This is one thing that really, really annoys me. I'm tired of people covering songs on YouTube with the intention of having their big break into stardom. Just stop.

What bothers me most is when I'm searching for a song on YouTube and mixed in with the actual song is people singing that song. Yes, it has worked for now stars Greyson Chance, Charice, Darren Criss, and Justin Bieber, but they were extremely lucky. Half of those people who make cover versions actually are terrible. Thank god you can comment and tell them that they are.

However, I don't mind YouTube stars - people who make it on YouTube - such as Philip DeFranco, James Rolfe, Chris Crocker, and Shane Dawson. Those people deserve fame (…not some much Chris Crocker). In fact, Brandon Hardesty did make it. He landed a role in American Pie: The Book of Love. It's not much, but at least he made it.

If you want to be discovered for musical talents, do American Idol, don't post annoying crap on YouTube. We all know that you're not trying to display your talent for others to enjoy… you're just hoping someone famous like Usher will see and say "I found my next star!"

Separated at Birth: Mila & Sarah

Mila and Sarah

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks this.

Family Guy voice actress, Black Swan Golden Globe nominee, and the world's sexiest woman, Mila Kunis (27) looks identical to Modern Family's Sarah Hyland (20).

If When they decide to do a biopic on Mila, Sarah will definitely be in the running to portray Mila. She just needs to master that distinctive voice.

Sarah talked to Ellen about this a few weeks ago on her talk show. Check out the video below:

Volume 5's Album Announced!

Glee: The Music - Volume 5

It's very orange and reminds me of a pumpkin, but I'll take it.

Notice how Chord Overstreet/Sam isn't on there. I kind of like it that way.

Here's the track listing:

1. Thriller / Heads Will Roll
2. Need You Now
3. She's Not There
4. Fat Bottomed Girls
5. P.Y.T (Pretty Young Thing)
6. Firework
7. Baby
8. Somebody to Love
9. Take Me or Leave Me
10. Sing
11. Don't You Want Me
12. Do You Wanna Touch Me (Oh Yeah)
13. Kiss
14. Landslide
15. Get It Right
16. Loser Like Me

Volume 6 must be coming out before the end of the season since this album seems to only include 5 episodes worth of music. We'll see.

PS… Is it weird that I get excited for album artwork and movie posters and DVD covers? Idk.

Finally, some Terminator 5 news!

Terminator 5

It's about damn time! It's been two years since the last one!

With Arnold no longer in office and his announcement to get back into showbiz, it wasn't long for rumors to start spreading about the fate of Terminator 5.

As of right now, the rights to the Terminator franchise are up in the air (since they can't seem to stay in one damn spot!). Universal Studios is possibly thinking to purchase the rights and I think they're hoping that dear Arnie would making a return to star as the titular character, or at least make a cameo.

It is also believed that if Universal does to this, they would hire the Fast and the Furious 3, 4 and 5's director and writer, Justin Lin (director) and Chris Morgan (writer), to step in. This is where I have a problem. I don't want some mediocre director. This is the Terminator series! You can't just had it over to someone who's filmed car movies. If you can't give it back to James Cameron (although he refuses to take it), Jonathan Mostow, or McG, then give it someone with a little more credibility like Joe Johnston, Jon Favreau, or …. Steven Spielberg. ;)

I want a Terminator 5 more than anything, but it needs to live up to the series. If it can't do that, then why have one?

Who Will Carrie On?

Sex and the City Prequel

Rumors are spreading about a possible Sex and the City prequel instead of making another sequel. Kind of a bummer because I think the Sex and the City movies are hilarious, but the second was kind of a flop and the girls claimed there wouldn't be another one. So now there's a possibility of a prequel and there are already rumors of who may play Carrie. The two actresses that seem to be most rumored are Gossip Girl's Blake Lively and Glee's Dianna Agron.

Since I'm only familiar with the movies and have never seen the TV show, I don't know how old the characters were when they met (and I'm assuming that's what the movie would be about...how it all started).

I think Blake's got that Carrie look to her. Blake is 23 while Dianna is 24, but Blake still looks older to me. I've also seen Blake play a whore in The Town so I know she's versatile. Dianna, while being older, has played a high schooler in Glee, I Am Number Four, and has appeared as one in many other shows including the head cheerleader in Heroes. While I feel that she could probably play a high schooler until she's thirty because she just has one of those faces, I'm interested in seeing her play a character like Carrie. I'm curious as to whether or not she could pull it off. Hopefully, she's a good enough actress to play more than just a bitch cheerleader or shy school girl, which I'm sure she is… we just haven't seen it yet.

My pick: either. It doesn't matter to me. I feel that they both would be great choices so we'll see if this happens.

Lindsay up for Superman role!

Lindsay Lohan

I don't know about you guys, but I kinda like this idea…

Rumor has it that Lindsay Lohan is up for a major role in the new Zach Snyder Superman reboot.

MovieFone via TMZ:

According to TMZ, Lindsay Lohan’s “people” have informed them that the former actress-turned-troublemaker-turned-jewel-thief will be meeting with the ‘Superman’ “people” soon about a major part in Zack Snyder’s upcoming film. Yes, Lindsay Lohan. And no, we’re not lying — they’re actually reporting that.

They claim the part isn’t Lois Lane (phew), but it’s a “major character.” Could Lohan be among the other females auditioning for this mystery female role that Latino Review claims is the villainous Ursa?

I also thought I read that they axed Lois Lane's character all together, so we'll see if that happens. Either way, I'm glad to see that Lindsay is back up for a major role in a huge movie. Let's just hope she stays out of jail for that to happen.

X-Men: First Class

Intriguing. I'm interested, but I'm nervous that I will be disappointed. I'm going to try and stay optimistic. It better have a great story and lots of action!

Don't Hold Your Breathe - Nicole Scherzinger

Don't Hold Your Breathe

My new favorite song (hopefully until Lady Gaga releases "Born This Way" in 8 hours)! ;)

P.S. "breth" is spelled b-r-e-a-t-h right? Not b-r-e-a-t-h-e, because then that would be "breeth."

Britney's teasing us!

I don't like it. 4 days til Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" release and 11 days til Britney's "Hold It Against Me" music video!

Preview from Tomorrow's Glee!

I love Santana. She's probably my favorite female character in the show and I love how REAL this scene is. Can't wait.

A teaser for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' Super Bowl spot!

Sneak Peeks at the Super Glee episode!

I love Rachel and Puck's version of 'Need You Now.'

And if you haven't heard 'Thriller / Heads Will Roll,' you need to!

To download the Super Bowl episode's music on iTunes: click here.

Deathly Hallows: Part I DVD covers released!

Harry Potter DVD Covers

The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 DVD covers are here and I love them!

I'm hope they, and I'm pretty sure they will, have a 2-Disc Collector's Edition that has the same cover as the Blu-ray. One thing that pisses me off is when they change the boxes and such when there is a huge series. I'm NOT buying the Blu-ray and I'm NOT buying the single disc. There better be a two disc or I will sue.

Part II's trailer should be released sometime this month. Just FYI!

Interesting film. You learn a lot about the history of Facebook through this movie.

I liked how the movie kept going forward and backward in time as they covered certain subjects. And they way they switched between the lawsuits.

Jesse Eisenberg was great and perfectly cast. Although I feel as though that's how he is in real life. He's a lot like Michael Cera that way. Regardless, he deserves his nomination.

Andrew Garfield was snubbed. He deserved a nomination and the movie, for some reason, campaigned for Justin Timberlake to receive an Oscar. Why? Justin is a terrible actor, that's indisputable. And I feel like his character in the movie is exactly how he is in real life. I'm not saying I hate JT. I love his music, but not his acting.

My one, one, one problem with this movie is its lack of climax. I really, really hate movies that do that. You're watching the movie and loving it and loving it and then the credits start rolling. Like WTF? They answer all of the questions and everything but nothing huge happens at the end. Justin's character gets caught in a drug bust but that's hardly a climax (at least they way the showed it, it wasn't a climax).

Regardless it's a great movie. I'm sure either this one or The King's Speech will take home the Oscar, but I'm still praying for Black Swan! We shall see.

The Bergs Meet on SNL

On Saturday's SNL, guest host Jesse Eisenberg met his Social Network character, Mark Zuckerberg for the first time.

This is kind of painfully awkward. Mark is NOT an actor. Haha.

Rihanna's S&M Music Video!

Perez Hilton is in this… god only knows why, and he kind of ruined it for me. Who would want him as their slave.

Anyways, the video (minus him) is HOT!

You know what's funny? After an actor has a movie where they play a gay character, they push out a extremely heterosexual movie right afterwards to redeem themselves. After Heath and Jake did their thing in Brokeback Mountain they both starred in Casanova and Jarhead, respectively. Now, Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis each have a movie come out that actually had the same title at one point. Natalie came out with this one and in a month, Mila will be releasing Friends With Benefits starring her and Justin Timberlake. Hmm… I just find it interesting.

Moving on.

Before you blow this off as another lame romantic comedy, remember that this is rated R and is 100% about sex. That means that this is real. There's no fluffy bullshit, just realness. It was kind of a mix between The Ugly Truth and Knocked Up.

I'm not that big of a fan of Ashton Kutcher, but he was somewhat enjoyable in this movie. Natalie though, was amazing. It was really interesting to see her in a romantic comedy. She's a lot like Leonardo DiCaprio where she typically only does movies that are serious and dramatic. So I just found it interesting.

I definitely recommend this movie. It really is funny.
