It's like Christmas in July!!Disney announced that it will be investing $100 million into a live-action version of the animated film Mulan, and it will be released in 3D (big shocker there).
Zhang Ziyi (from Memoirs of a Geisha) will be producing and portraying the title character.
Alice in Wonderland, Malificent, Cinderella, and now this going live action? Yay!
I should mention that Mulan is one my my favorite Disney movies. Right up there with Beauty and the Beast and The Emperor's New Groove. And I'm happy that it's getting the recognition it deserves. People don't think it's as amazing as The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Cinderella, although Mulan is considered part of the Disney Renaissance.
